Sweater Weather!
I think that with the weather regularly in the sixties or below, it can officially be considered sweater season! Sweater season is completely different from Fall or Winter- it's that time where it's not too hot but not too cold, and when you don a sweater, you're perfectly toasty. In celebration of this, I've picked out my sweater weather wish list, which is full of tons of bright and cheery prints and animals... I've been loving the sheep :) Do you guys love sweater season as much as I do!?

World, Meet Winston.
Since it feels so nice out lately, it's become a little bit of a tradition for us to take Winston to the park in the mornings, and let him run around off leash- which, oh my god, he absolutely loves. The only time I have ever seen him this happy is whenever we come home, so it's really nice to have found a way for him to have fun, us to have fun, and for him to get tired! By the way, for anyone wondering- he is 70% German Shepherd Dog, and 30% Timberwolf. We were hesitant when we got him, but he's turned out to be the best dog either of us has ever had, learns quick, was potty trained almost instantly, etc. That being said, I wouldn't recommend a wolf hybrid for everyone, as it was a lot of work to get him to where he is now, and they aren't legal in all states/municipalities. Does anyone else have experience with wolf hybrids?

End of Semester Crunch Time
I don't know about anyone else, but this time of the semester (with about a month left) is the most stressful yet at the same time the least homework-packed part. Right now, I don't have any more essays due, only two more tests, two more quizzes, and not even that many notes to take! But it's this time in the semester that I tend to slack off and not study as much as I probably should. Does this happen with anyone else? It's like I know I should study, but the sweet relief of no immediate assignments is just so tempting to embrace. But luckily! I have found many solutions to fixing this terrible dilemma:
1. I set aside a certain time to study and get ahead each day, or at least every other day.
2. I divide my homework up by each day of the week, according to any plans I have and when I'm working, so that I don't get stressed out right when the due date approaches.
3. I give myself rewards! If I ace a test, get all of my homework for the week done on time, etc. then I allow myself to buy that cute top I've been eying, or take a short day trip to see my friends that live an hour away. This helps keep me motivated and happy, and most definitely reduces my stress.
4. As crazy as this may seem, I DON'T OVERLOAD ON COFFEE. It makes me jittery and
wide awake, but definitely not alert, and I don't remember nearly as much as I do if I study/
do homework when I'm genuinely awake.
Does anyone else have some awesome study tips that help you get through this terrible time of the semester?

Hello all!
I'm starting this blog as a way to keep my college kid self out of the (oh so easy) fashion rut known as yoga pants and a v-neck, and to push myself to try new things with my clothes! I also want a way to keep track of my puppy child (Winston) growing up, and me and my lovely lovely boyfriends (Chris) escapades around the great city of Charlotte, North Carolina. I hope you follow along on my journey to furthering a coherent and comfortable sense of style!
